Explanation

The purpose of the law is achieved only through execution; a judgment without enforcement is a tree without fruit. (Duplicate maxim — see also 1.5.31, 8.9.2.)

• I have a judgment in my favor but there's no enforcement — what good is it.
• A court order without execution is meaningless.
• The purpose of the law is achieved through enforcement, not just rulings.
