No one is presumed to act against nature.

Explanation

Courts will not presume that a party intended an act contrary to the natural order — the burden falls on whoever alleges the unnatural act.

Where this applies

  • A party is accused of deliberately destroying their own property for no reason.
  • Someone claims a parent intentionally harmed their own child without any evidence.
