Explanation
One who enters a transaction knowing the other party's deception cannot later claim injury from the fraud — knowledge of the trick negates the harm.
Where this applies
- Someone knowingly enters a fraudulent deal and then complains about being cheated.
- A person sees the deception coming but proceeds anyway, then sues.
