The law presumes that a neighbor knows the acts of his neighbor.

Explanation
One cannot claim ignorance of what is open and notorious in his own vicinity — the law charges a man with knowledge of what reasonable diligence would reveal.
Where this applies
- A neighbor builds a large structure and the adjacent landowner claims not to have noticed.
- Someone claims ignorance of obvious activities happening right next door.
