Explanation
He who freely and knowingly consents to an act cannot afterwards complain of it as an injury — but the consent must be truly free.
Where this applies
- I signed a waiver before skydiving and now want to sue for my injury.
- I knowingly agreed to play a contact sport and got hurt — can I sue?
